Turning an Oops into Art

A good friend of mine is getting married soon and is having several events this summer leading up to the grand affair. I'm taking advantage of the opportunity to dabble in wedding photography to see if A. I'd be any good at it and B. I like it.

The jury is still out.

In meantime, here's a shot of one of the bouquets dressing up the tables at KR's bridal shower. I screwed up the white balance setting because the mix of florescent and natural light. All the pictures were very yellow - oops. This picture is my first try at fixing/improving on the the picture using photoshop.

*Note: it's low-quality, so large version will be very grainy.

I hate it too when the light is mixed. Makes getting the white balance a hard chore. Have you tried a white balance cap? It lets you use this as a custom white balance. Works like a charm in mixed light situations! You can get one off of ebay for around $4.00. :)
