Bug, beetle or roach?
What the hell is this? I'm not really sure I want to know. I saw this on the trail where Apollo and I hike during the week. It was about two inches long, maybe 2 1/2 inches.

Hubby says it's a beetle of some sort. Hope that helps...

I did some poking around on that site, couldn't find an exact match, but closest ones were stink and click beetles.
Definely a beetle, probably Paul McCartney.
