Went to a lake for a brisk - very brisk, it was cold - walk.

View, with a few minor tweaks to polish up the image.

Same view, with a few values tweaked to make it look a washed-out twilight.

On the highest road in the nation

Some bird...at one of the scenic outlooks we stopped at, there was a display picture of this bird, and a bunch of very excited people pointing this bird out. "Lookit! Same bird as the picture!"

My view

Ok, I lie. While I do have a view of the mountains, it's not very good - usually a distant blue blur behind a large town. But if I walk 50 feet, there's a better view of the foothills near me.
